It’s Voting Season, But...
Only 18% of registered voters in Philadelphia voted in the 2024 primary—a steep decline from 32% in 2020, and 40% in 2016.
Today, less than one fifth of registered voters decide to represent the rest.
Queen Villagers in the 2nd ward showed 76.2% turnout rate for General Election 2024, higher than Philly’s overall 67.6%. Still, for primary, mid-term, and local elections, we need a more powerful civic engagement!
