Friends of Mario Lanza Dog Park
Our Mission
The Friends of Mario Lanza Dog Park’s mission is to create a welcoming and dedicated space for dogs and people to enjoy for recreation and community in the heart of Queen Village. We are a volunteer-run dog park that provides:
Regular maintenance for the park to keep it safe and beautiful
Organized social gatherings for dog owners and non-dog owners alike to build a community of neighbors
Fundraising to provide maintenance and upgrades to the park
Our volunteer community runs bi-annual park clean-ups, a Halloween costume party, an annual holiday cocktail and dinner party, and Summer Yappy Hours in partnership with local restaurants. Additionally, our volunteers run waste management and regular maintenance to keep the park clean and safe for users.

As a volunteer-run dog park, we receive no ongoing financial support from the city and rely on our dedicated community to keep the space enjoyable for all.
