What role did Philadelphia’s faith communities play in the American Revolution? This panel discussion will feature experts on the varied ways faith leaders and communities thought about and responded to the revolution in light of their theological commitments and ethnic and racial identities. Following a series of brief presentations, panelists will discuss what lessons can be learned as we reflect on the nation’s 250th anniversary. This program will take place inside the church sanctuary, followed by a reception in Riverside Hall.
