Old Pine Street Church presents rare insights into the life of Abigail Adams on October 28th at 7pm. Our nation's second “First Lady" Abigail Adams, was an early abolitionist and advocate of women’s rights. Her husband, John Adams, attended Old Pine during the American Revolution and wrote to her about the impressive sermons preached by its pastor, Rev. George Duffield. During the War for Independence, Old Pine was known as “The Church of the Patriots.”
