Personal Narratives in Mixed Media: A Workshop at DVAA

  • Da Vinci Art Alliance 704 Catharine Street Philadelphia, PA, 19147 United States (map)

In this reflective, hands-on workshop, you'll create a mixed-media vision board that tells your story. Expressing how the past, present, and future are all connected. Inspired by the Currere method, we’ll use art to explore personal experiences and imagine your future.

As we work, we’ll also consider how dreaming can be a powerful act. Dreaming allows us to reflect on ourselves, our communities, and our hopes for the future. Through creative expression and optional conversation, we’ll gently explore themes like dreams, belonging, and representation in community and art.

DVAA uses art to connect people and build collective resilience in spaces across Greater Philadelphia. Help support this sliding-scale event—and many more like it—with a donation of $10–$25! All DVAA programming is NOTAFLOF (No One Turned Away for Lack of Funds). If cost is a barrier, email marketing@davinciartalliance.org to request a free ticket. You can purchase tickets here.
