Blessing of the Animals at St. Peter's Church
Sunday, October 5 at 9 and 11am | Third and Pine Streets

Dogs and all pets of all sorts are invited to attend St. Peter's Church with their humans to receive a blessing on the first Sunday in October. On this day, people all over the world celebrate the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi, who is remembered for his love of all creatures great and small. After the service, pets will receive a blessing outdoors (weather permitting) on the east end of the churchyard. If you'd like to attend just for the blessing, please arrive around 12:15pm.
