Getting to Queen Village Open Streets
What is the best way to get to Queen Village Open Streets? We encourage everyone to utilize traditional modes of transit as much as possible, including walking, biking and taking public transit.
Public Transit - The intersection of 4th and South (the northern start of Queen Village Open Streets) is a short 15-minute walk from the 5th St Market Frankford L stop. SEPTA bus routes also offer convenient drop-offs nearby, including the 40 (running east/west on South and Lombard Streets), the 57 (running north/south on 3rd and 4th), the 47 (running north/south on 7th and 8th) and the 64 (running east/west on Washington Ave).
Biking - there are five Indego stations within 1/2 mile of the Open Streets footprint, as well as some private bike parking in front of stores on Bainbridge and 4th Streets.
For those who need to drive, please consider using Uber/Lyft, since up to 30% of city traffic on regular days is caused by folks circling blocks searching for street or garage parking. There are ample garages and surface lots, including deeply affordable options at the QVNA parking lot at Front/Christian, for as low as $2/hour!
Make it stand out.
