Independence Day is annually celebrated on July 4 and is often known as "the Fourth of July". It is the anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776. Patriotic displays and family events are organized throughout the United States.

10:30am-2pm at 2nd & Lombard Streets. Closed when Sunday is a major holiday. Nearly 50 rotating vendors, Headhouse is one of The Food Trust's largest farmers markets. Beyond the abundance of fresh produce, you can also find a great selection of locally prepared foods and artisanal goods such as soups, caneles, ice cream, coffee and wine.
