Because Queen Village contains a wealth of restaurants and bars, many of which are on South Street, it is important that a QVNA committee monitor the liquor licensing process.

Overseen by a QVNA board member with a working knowledge of the city’s liquor licensing procedures, the committee ensures that residents’ needs are taken into consideration when a new bar opens, a liquor license is transferred, or a bar or its patrons become an issue for the neighborhood.
