Window Boxes, Flower Pots and Other Containers
Every year, after the winter season finally comes to an end, many Queen Village residents install beautiful flowers and plantings in window boxes, flower pots and raised gardens in front of their homes. These gorgeous displays are on full view every summer, and it’s always a great pleasure to walk around the neighborhood and take them all in. With the threat of Hurricane Irene on the horizon, I walked around and photographed a number of such plantings, as I feared that they may be uprooted during the storm.
