QVNA Sustainability Committee Mission Statement:

  • To make our neighborhood easier to live in.
  • To foster sustainable practices that support our lives by making the daily process of life more integrated and convenient.
  • To encourage urban agriculture and social cooperation in a permanent, age integrated community for the purpose of a safer, healthier, more beautiful and economically stable urban environment.

 

The committee meets every third Wednesday at 7:30 at the QVNA office at Weccacoe Playground (400 block of Catharine Street).

 ABANDONED BICYCLE ON YOUR BLOCK?

Do you have a broken abandoned bicycle on a sidewalk near you? Let us know about it using this form, and we’ll use the bike to help neighborhood kids AND recycle some perfectly good parts! We’ll tag the bike, give the owner a chance to get in touch, and after a few weeks we’ll remove it and send it to Neighborhood Bike Works.
