Schools and Youth Activities
Great schools are the centerpiece of great neighborhoods in Philadelphia. That is why the Queen Village Neighbors Schools & Youth Activities Committee launched “It Takes Queen Village,” a grassroots outreach and education campaign that seeks support for Nebinger and Meredith Elementary Schools. With the uncertainty of school budget cuts, our children need you.
You can help by donating money, time, and your voice. See specific ways you can give of yourself below. The Schools & Youth Activities Committee is open to all Queen Village residents who have an interest in supporting the children living in and attending school in our neighborhood. While the committee advocates for Nebinger and Meredith to make sure Queen Village has two first-rate neighborhood schools, it also works to ensure, more generally, that young people’s needs in this neighborhood are met.
