Queen Village Tree Trenders

Trees and Green Spaces in Queen Village

Trees not only add beauty to our neighborhood, their shade keeps us cool in the summer. They filter out carbon and toxins from our air, and they produce oxygen to help us breathe.

The Queen Village Tree Tenders are a dedicated team of neighborhood volunteers who have taken the Philadelphia Green Tree Tenders training. They are here to help neighbors understand tree care, expand the number of tree in our neighborhood, and keep Queen Village green.

The Tree Tenders are also involved in the TreeVitalize program that helps to restore tree cover in our region.

Get involved with the Queen Village Tree Tenders and make Queen Village a green village!

If you have trees on your street or in your backyard, read the Tree Tending Guide to keep your trees healthy.

For information on tree types, view an online directory of trees.

Contact the committee or email info@qvna.org to get involved.
